Narrative:
While leveling off at final altitude; I switched the bleed switch from auto bleed to max diff. The cabin then depressurized. I descended the aircraft to a breathable altitude and resumed flight at 6;000 ft.

Title: TBM-900 pilot reported changing the bleed air switch from auto to Max Diff. This caused a depressurization and the pilot had to immediately descend to 8;000 ft.
Narrative: While leveling off at final altitude; I switched the bleed switch from Auto Bleed to Max Diff. The cabin then depressurized. I descended the aircraft to a breathable altitude and resumed flight at 6;000 ft.
