Narrative:

During routine inspection noted nose strut leaking hydraulic fluid. Once nose landing gear [nlg] oleo [strut] was removed for a rebuild we noticed that the repack kit only contained two set screws of a different size. The upper bearing that was installed had four set screws. Upon researching the component maintenance manual illustrated parts catalogue for the correct part number installed nlg we found that the bearing installed was not the correct part number. Take enough time to do proper part number research.
