Narrative:

Aircraft received clearance to depart ict for stl. As I taxied out I was told to expect a 1 hour departure delay to stl. I changed destination and received clearance to mci. En route to mci I again changed destination to spirit of st louis airport (sus). Controller issued clearance and told me no problem getting into sus. As we approached st louis terminal area I was told to give kansas center a call on the phone. The problem they had was why I did not take a departure delay at ict. Apparently wichita had not told them of my destination change. The controller said they would further look into why I 'beat the system' while airliners with 200 people on board had to wait to get in. Better communication between approach/departure controls and centers would remedy these problems. Thanks for the help.
