Narrative:

I lost directional control during taxi and slid 4-5 feet due to a high tail wind and poor braking action on runway 29 in sdy while attempting to taxi for departure. This resulted in a temporary runway closure and the need for a tow. I did not slide off the runway or come into contact with anything; but the airplane was positioned in a way that required me to shut down and get a tow to avoid risk of hitting a snow bank. The winds were 280 at 24 KT. The incident was recorded in the maintenance log; and the plane was inspected and signed off by an authorized technician. Be more cautious of slick conditions with high winds and taxi with more vigilance.
