Narrative:

Deceased remains were discovered in the aft cargo bin during the post flight by the first officer (me) and the ZZZ ramper. Earlier in the day; the deceased was loaded onto the aircraft in ZZZ1 to be taken to ZZZ2 and off loaded there. After we landed in ZZZ2 we did a quick turn to get ready for the next flight to ZZZ. I did my preflight walk around duties and saw a ramper heading towards the aft cargo bin as I was doing my inspections. After I saw the ramper; I continued around the tail and around the rest of the airplane; concluding my walk around. Before we closed the airplane doors; we were handed the load report for the flight and it stated 44 bags in the forward cargo and 0 pounds in the rear. The flight was continued as normal from there. Once we landed in ZZZ; I performed the post flight walk around and then discovered the remains in the aft cargo compartment.
