Narrative:

I was assigned as customer service (CS2) and boarded this flight full and only one empty seat. Upon boarding the last passenger; I went on board and gave the captain the final paper work and ask if they ready to go. Likewise with the flight attendants I went to close the plane door. Called zone; door closed and need a jet way guide man. Zone advised to hold since ramp is still loading bags. I noticed that the power cable and air hose is still attached; an indication that ramp is not ready to give guide signal. Waited approximately seven (7) minutes and placed another call to zone and again request a guide man; still none available. I called R1 and asked if I will stay at [the] gate xya and wait until guide man give signal or proceed to [next] gate xz as previous assigned. R1 while on the phone called ramp on radio and request a guide man at gate xya. Upon advised of R1 to stay until the jet bridge is pushed back and park; then proceed for next gate assignment.while waiting patiently at gate xya I've heard the jet bridge alarm went off and indication that the power cable is being towed up. I waited and look down and notice that the ramp agent was in the process of retracting the cable up. Still waiting and constantly looking down of the left hand side of the jet bridge; anticipating that a ramp agent will be in place to provide signal and no ramp agent was nowhere to be found. All of a sudden; I noticed that the plane is moving to the right and saw the towed truck [tug] pushing the aircraft for push out. At that time the canopy are retracted and auto leveler disengaged; with a sound mind and quick decision in place; I immediately grab the jet bridge control stick towards me/backward pulling the jet bridge away from the aircraft approximately 5-6 inches; to prevent the aircraft for being scrap by the jet bridge and prevent from incurring damages. While the towed truck continuously push the plane out; I sprint down to the jet bridge stairs and signal the tow driver to stop (signaling both arms crossed). I went up again the jet bridge and advised zone that ramp pushed out the aircraft at gate xya with the jet bridge still attached. The aircraft may have incurred major damages; have I not move the jet bridge away quickly while it's in motion being pushed out from the gate. Luckily; there were no one behind the wheel of the jet bridge when I moved the bridge off; possible accident may occur. Notification was immediately dispatched to zone; R1 and T7 sup about the near miss event.
