Narrative:

Massive line of convective activity from the southwest of airspace to the northeast over 200 miles affecting all operations. Aircraft X checked on frequency deviating east of course toward oceanic airspace. All previous oceanic traffic have been deviating off course but since the oceanic facility has flight plans; coordination is accomplished after diligent work. Aircraft X advised that 'we cannot turn on course and will continue to deviate east for 150 miles'. That now requires a new route of flight and coordination with oceanic facility. The radar assist worked quickly to find an approved route without success. Since we were unable to update the route into oceanic airspace in a quick and timely manner; oceanic sector was unable to assist us with proper routing. I issued what routing we could find as quickly as possible and update the flight plan to aircraft X. I then terminated radar contact and issued arinc frequency to aircraft X. The oceanic facility was not pleased. In the drop down routing menu please add relevant and common routes associated with the sector; whatever sector it may be. A quick and easy route into oceanic airspace would be a great improvement and greatly enhance safety. Also it would be helpful to have traffic management unit aware of potential difficulties in situations such as this.

Title: A Center Controller reported of an aircraft that had to deviate for weather into and through an adjacent facility. The adjacent facility would not approve a route into their airspace but the Center Controller issued a route anyway and transferred the aircraft.
