Narrative:

Upon taxi in and taxi out of our gates; there is no continuous taxi line around the concourse area. On taxi out from the gates; the taxi line abruptly ends near taxiway V and reappears once you reach taxiway M. This is a hazardous oversight as the ramp is dark and proximity to other aircraft on concourse a is very close when taxiing by. I realize it is considered a ramp area; but it is too hazardous to taxi in the area without appropriate and continuous taxi lines. Additionally; the signs for taxiway east and M are too far away from the gate area to be of any use. They either need to be moved closer to the ramp; or the ramp needs to have paint markings designating the taxiways.

Additionally; the signs for taxiway E and M are too far away from the gate area to be of any use. They either need to be moved closer to the ramp; or the ramp needs to have paint markings designating the taxiways.
