Narrative:

Air carrier flight requested direct iso, point of intended landing. I disapproved route because it would violate R5311C airspace. I cleared aircraft direct fay and then direct iso, which would clear the restr airspace. A few mins later I noticed air carrier flight was north of course entering restr airspace. I turned air carrier flight southbound, away from R5311C and coordinated with range control for restr area penetration.

Title: ACR FLT CREW ON A DIRECT ROUTE TO FAY DEVIATED NORTH OF COURSE FOR UNKNOWN REASON(S) AND ENTERED RESTRICTED AIRSPACE (R5311C).

Narrative: ACR FLT REQUESTED DIRECT ISO, POINT OF INTENDED LNDG. I DISAPPROVED RTE BECAUSE IT WOULD VIOLATE R5311C AIRSPACE. I CLRED ACFT DIRECT FAY AND THEN DIRECT ISO, WHICH WOULD CLR THE RESTR AIRSPACE. A FEW MINS LATER I NOTICED ACR FLT WAS N OF COURSE ENTERING RESTR AIRSPACE. I TURNED ACR FLT SBND, AWAY FROM R5311C AND COORDINATED WITH RANGE CTL FOR RESTR AREA PENETRATION.
