Narrative:

I was flying an en route from pierre, sd to sioux falls/joe foss field on an IFR flight plan. I was cleared for the visibility approach by center, with runway of my choice, winds 170/05. So, from my position, I made the most practical choice at a straight in landing to runway 15. I followed checklists on my approach to the runway, slowing to 140, selected gear down and noted 3 green lights, then was slowed to safe flap range, so selected half flaps (approximately distance at this time, 3 mi final). Upon reaching 1 mi final I selected full flaps and propellers forward position. I followed VASI lights down to a normal T/D. Upon rolling out of my landing I selected flaps to the up position to aid in braking, and then went to select the gear locking mechanism. But while trying to lock the mechanism pin, I inadvertently moved the gear handle resulting in activating gear to the up position. I quickly tried to select down position, but the main gear had already collapsed, causing bottom fuselage to contact ground while rolling out from my landing. There was no personal damage and damage to the aircraft appeared to be centralized to skin damage on fuselage. All necessary actions with the FAA have been taken. Preventive measures would be to follow checklist more carefully and to wait until clear of the runway before selecting flaps to the upright position and locking of mechanism pin for gear selector.

Title: LNDG GEAR INADVERTENTLY RETRACTED WHILE ON GND AFTER LNDG.

Narrative: I WAS FLYING AN ENRTE FROM PIERRE, SD TO SIOUX FALLS/JOE FOSS FIELD ON AN IFR FLT PLAN. I WAS CLRED FOR THE VIS APCH BY CENTER, WITH RWY OF MY CHOICE, WINDS 170/05. SO, FROM MY POS, I MADE THE MOST PRACTICAL CHOICE AT A STRAIGHT IN LNDG TO RWY 15. I FOLLOWED CHKLISTS ON MY APCH TO THE RWY, SLOWING TO 140, SELECTED GEAR DOWN AND NOTED 3 GREEN LIGHTS, THEN WAS SLOWED TO SAFE FLAP RANGE, SO SELECTED HALF FLAPS (APPROX DISTANCE AT THIS TIME, 3 MI FINAL). UPON REACHING 1 MI FINAL I SELECTED FULL FLAPS AND PROPS FORWARD POS. I FOLLOWED VASI LIGHTS DOWN TO A NORMAL T/D. UPON ROLLING OUT OF MY LNDG I SELECTED FLAPS TO THE UP POS TO AID IN BRAKING, AND THEN WENT TO SELECT THE GEAR LOCKING MECHANISM. BUT WHILE TRYING TO LOCK THE MECHANISM PIN, I INADVERTENTLY MOVED THE GEAR HANDLE RESULTING IN ACTIVATING GEAR TO THE UP POS. I QUICKLY TRIED TO SELECT DOWN POS, BUT THE MAIN GEAR HAD ALREADY COLLAPSED, CAUSING BOTTOM FUSELAGE TO CONTACT GND WHILE ROLLING OUT FROM MY LNDG. THERE WAS NO PERSONAL DAMAGE AND DAMAGE TO THE ACFT APPEARED TO BE CENTRALIZED TO SKIN DAMAGE ON FUSELAGE. ALL NECESSARY ACTIONS WITH THE FAA HAVE BEEN TAKEN. PREVENTIVE MEASURES WOULD BE TO FOLLOW CHECKLIST MORE CAREFULLY AND TO WAIT UNTIL CLR OF THE RWY BEFORE SELECTING FLAPS TO THE UPRIGHT POS AND LOCKING OF MECHANISM PIN FOR GEAR SELECTOR.
