Narrative:

Green and pack trip light on second officer's panel burned out between the panel check and takeoff. No green light came on during takeoff and aborted takeoff at around 10-15 KTS. Pressed to test bulb after complying with procedures, replaced bulb and returned for takeoff. Automatic-pack system was working because both packs tripped off when throttles brought back to idle. Got a good green light on subsequent takeoff when we checked the operations manual for brake energy limits, 10-15 KTS was not on the scale. Crew determined that no maintenance was required since automatic-pack system worked on the abort.
