Narrative:
While hand flying the ILS 25L approaching in visual conditions my eye was drawn to something on the ground. It was right off the nose; just slightly right of center line. The aircraft was about 16 DME and at about 5;000 feet. I looked at it and immediately recognized the green light as a laser and ducked under the glare shield. I looked at for only a split second and at the time felt as though my vision was not affected. Captain asked if I wanted to transfer controls; I declined. Upon landing I felt a slight burning sensation in my right eye; but no degraded vision. Parked at gate went home and went right to bed about midnight local time. Upon waking this morning; I still have a slight burning sensation in my right eye and I had a little bit of white discharge in the right eye. Now 14 hours after the event symptoms are still the same; slight burning but no apparent effect on my vision. My next flight assignment is 10 days from now and I will monitor this and if need be I will go see an eye doctor; but as of this time my vision seems unaffected.
