Narrative:
Departed with a student onboard conducting an instructional flight. Prior to takeoff I informed the student I had the controls and would perform the takeoff. During the takeoff while in ground effect; the student grabbed the stick and overpowered me on the flight controls. I repeatedly shouted that I had the controls but the student did not respond. I was unable to recover the aircraft.
