Narrative:

At approximately 23;000 feet; during the beginning of climb and in very light chop; we received EICAS messages autopilot fail; yaw damper fail and sps/ice speeds (as we had just entered very light icing conditions). We ran the aom-1 abnormal procedure for autopilot fail. As directed by the procedure; we informed ATC we were no longer rvsm compliant and would need to be held below FL290. After this; we received the EICAS message rudder system 1-2 inoperative. We ran the rudder system 1-2 inoperative abnormal checklist; which led us to turn off rudder system 1 and 2. As we continued the procedure it led us to turning off rudder system-1. When we turned off rudder system-1 it caused an uncommanded yaw movement to the right. We then re-selected rudder system-1 on; and yaw movement went back to normal with rudder system-2 inoperative message remaining. We diverted to and landed at the nearest suitable airport. Normal landing was successfully completed; and all crew and passengers deplaned under normal conditions. Per maintenance; a pressure switch failure occurred.
