Narrative:
We were cleared to line up and wait for runway xy with landing traffic at 6 NM. Aircraft landing on runway xx was high and was approved to conduct s-turns. While in position and hold; the aircraft landing on xx executed a go-around procedure. The tower [issued] go-around instructions to the aircraft on xx. Once that traffic was past the departure end of the runway; we were cleared for takeoff on xy with traffic at 2 NM.tower then directed a go-around to the traffic behind us and 'cancel takeoff clearance' in the same radio transmission. We never heard our call sign during our initial takeoff roll. At 80 knots; tower made the following radio transmission; 'confirm company # cancel takeoff clearance.' at 100 knots; we realized that cancelled takeoff clearance was for us and initiated the rejected takeoff procedure. Consulted QRH; and taxied to gate with no further event.
