Narrative:

Fresno approach was in control of approach, tower and ground control all on the same frequency by one controller. During rollout on runway 29R while in reverse thrust we were cleared to taxi off runway 29R at high speed taxiway 'O' to hold short of runway 29L. My first officer acknowledged the instructions, but I did not hear the clearance due to noise of reversing and looking for a turnoff. The first officer assumed I heard the clearance, that part of the airport we were at was very smokey due to fireplace burning in fresno which is common in winter months, this condition made taxiway and runway identify difficult added by poor lighting and markings at that part of the airport. When I realized that we entered runway 29L at taxiway 'F' it was too late to stop west/O blocking the runway 29L. I continued across to taxiway 'H' southeast bnd. I heard the controller abort a small aircraft that had just started his takeoff roll. We apologized for the confusion and called the tower post flight. I believe the one controller operation, controling approach, tower and ground control for two runways, added by poor visibility due to smoke and poor lighting and markings for that part of the airport led to this incident. Not changing to ground control frequency led me to false thinking we were cleared to gate by no further callups.

Title: ACR-MLG UNAUTH RWY CROSSING CAUSES TWR TO CANCEL TKOF CLRNC FOR SMA STARTING TKOF FROM PARALLEL RWY.

Narrative: FRESNO APCH WAS IN CTL OF APCH, TWR AND GND CTL ALL ON THE SAME FREQ BY ONE CTLR. DURING ROLLOUT ON RWY 29R WHILE IN REVERSE THRUST WE WERE CLRED TO TAXI OFF RWY 29R AT HIGH SPD TXWY 'O' TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 29L. MY F/O ACKNOWLEDGED THE INSTRUCTIONS, BUT I DID NOT HEAR THE CLRNC DUE TO NOISE OF REVERSING AND LOOKING FOR A TURNOFF. THE F/O ASSUMED I HEARD THE CLRNC, THAT PART OF THE ARPT WE WERE AT WAS VERY SMOKEY DUE TO FIREPLACE BURNING IN FRESNO WHICH IS COMMON IN WINTER MONTHS, THIS CONDITION MADE TXWY AND RWY IDENT DIFFICULT ADDED BY POOR LIGHTING AND MARKINGS AT THAT PART OF THE ARPT. WHEN I REALIZED THAT WE ENTERED RWY 29L AT TXWY 'F' IT WAS TOO LATE TO STOP W/O BLOCKING THE RWY 29L. I CONTINUED ACROSS TO TXWY 'H' SE BND. I HEARD THE CTLR ABORT A SMA THAT HAD JUST STARTED HIS TKOF ROLL. WE APOLOGIZED FOR THE CONFUSION AND CALLED THE TWR POST FLT. I BELIEVE THE ONE CTLR OPERATION, CTLING APCH, TWR AND GND CTL FOR TWO RWYS, ADDED BY POOR VISIBILITY DUE TO SMOKE AND POOR LIGHTING AND MARKINGS FOR THAT PART OF THE ARPT LED TO THIS INCIDENT. NOT CHANGING TO GND CTL FREQ LED ME TO FALSE THINKING WE WERE CLRED TO GATE BY NO FURTHER CALLUPS.
