Narrative:
While traversing approximately 10.5 statute miles due south of detroit metro airport at an altitude of between 1300 and 1400 feet MSL there was a near mid air collision (near midair collision) with a small fixed wing aircraft. While looking down to switch radio frequencies to willow run airport ATIS; observer in front left seat called out aircraft coming at us. I took evasive maneuvers making a right turn and descending; the other aircraft continued towards us. We continued descending and making hard right turn. The other aircraft made no maneuvers to avoid our aircraft. After the incident I contacted willow run tower; and was informed that there was an airspace incursion into detroit metro's bravo airspace. Willow run tower informed me to call metro airport tower upon landing. After landing; I contacted metro airport tower. The person that I spoke with; did not give his name; said that I had violated their class B airspace. I informed the person; that I had recorded GPS tracking on no less than 3 separate GPS and all GPS indicated that I was at least one half mile outside of their airspace. The person that I was speaking with informed me that he could not discuss the incident with me any further and that I had to speak with a supervisor; he also informed that all supervisors were gone for the weekend. He said that the other aircraft that I had the incursion with was on their tower frequency and was on an approach to detroit metro airport. My question is; if that is true why did the tower not give advisories to the other aircraft to avoid us; instead the other aircraft continued towards us even after we took evasive maneuver?
