Narrative:

Rno to dfw dispatched standard confign except (anti-skid system inoperative) original plan takeoff weight 147100#. Preflight was done. All was normal until we received load close-out while taxiing for takeoff. The new takeoff weight was 150600 pounds, which was 3500 pounds over planned takeoff weight and 1000 pounds over assumed takeoff weight. This required all new takeoff performance data. New data was received reflecting the heavier weight. The MEL and company airport analyst required special operations and a takeoff weight penalty of -8900 pounds for 150600 pounds with anti-skid inoperative. Penalty was taken from aircraft limit weight instead of runway limit and aircraft took off overweight by 4400#. The crew took extra time before takeoff to go through all required manual and procedures but the weight penalty was computed wrong by all of crew. The mistake was found by crew on climb out at 14000' MSL. Consideration. More information should be available to crews on special condition or restriction at certain airports or aircraft operating with inoperative equipment. Training should focus on enlightenment of crews and dispatcher to all consideration and consequence of these special cases. We found the takeoff performance data under these considerations to be vague and confusing.

Title: MIS-COMPUTED TKOF DATA WITH ANTI-SKID INOPERATIVE.

Narrative: RNO TO DFW DISPATCHED STANDARD CONFIGN EXCEPT (ANTI-SKID SYS INOP) ORIGINAL PLAN TKOF WT 147100#. PREFLT WAS DONE. ALL WAS NORMAL UNTIL WE RECEIVED LOAD CLOSE-OUT WHILE TAXIING FOR TKOF. THE NEW TKOF WT WAS 150600 LBS, WHICH WAS 3500 LBS OVER PLANNED TKOF WT AND 1000 LBS OVER ASSUMED TKOF WT. THIS REQUIRED ALL NEW TKOF PERFORMANCE DATA. NEW DATA WAS RECEIVED REFLECTING THE HEAVIER WT. THE MEL AND COMPANY ARPT ANALYST REQUIRED SPECIAL OPS AND A TKOF WT PENALTY OF -8900 LBS FOR 150600 LBS WITH ANTI-SKID INOP. PENALTY WAS TAKEN FROM ACFT LIMIT WT INSTEAD OF RWY LIMIT AND ACFT TOOK OFF OVERWEIGHT BY 4400#. THE CREW TOOK EXTRA TIME BEFORE TKOF TO GO THROUGH ALL REQUIRED MANUAL AND PROCS BUT THE WT PENALTY WAS COMPUTED WRONG BY ALL OF CREW. THE MISTAKE WAS FOUND BY CREW ON CLBOUT AT 14000' MSL. CONSIDERATION. MORE INFO SHOULD BE AVAILABLE TO CREWS ON SPECIAL CONDITION OR RESTRICTION AT CERTAIN ARPTS OR ACFT OPERATING WITH INOP EQUIP. TRNING SHOULD FOCUS ON ENLIGHTENMENT OF CREWS AND DISPATCHER TO ALL CONSIDERATION AND CONSEQUENCE OF THESE SPECIAL CASES. WE FOUND THE TKOF PERFORMANCE DATA UNDER THESE CONSIDERATIONS TO BE VAGUE AND CONFUSING.
