Narrative:
In process of doing my card for the prsov (pressure regulating shut off and control valve) filter change I had completed the job down to the safety wire. I walked off to get safety wire when the slats were lowered onto the d-door. I used the alternate procedure to lock out the slats.

Title: A Mechanic working on a B767-300 reported that an access door was left open on the leading edge of the wing when someone lowered the slats onto the door.
Narrative: In process of doing my card for the PRSOV (Pressure Regulating Shut Off and Control Valve) filter change I had completed the job down to the safety wire. I walked off to get safety wire when the slats were lowered onto the D-door. I used the alternate procedure to lock out the slats.
