Narrative:

En route from P10 to bxk VOR staying under TCA, approximately 10 NM southeast gyr. Passenger saw another aircraft approaching us directly from the southeast. It was traveling much faster than we were (looked like single engine small aircraft). Action: I turned northwest to avoid. I knew I was close to air traffic area of gyr. At this time I lost sight of the plane. I'm sure I violated air traffic area of gyr. After that I saw this plane on the west side of the estrella mountains. It was wbound. Factors: during this flight, because of the turbulence, I did not want to fly over the mountains. I was not very familiar with with phx TCA and my passenger had distracted me.
