Narrative:

While on a flight between salmon and boise, the WX began to deteriorate to the point that the mountain tops were obscured. I proceeded through the narrow canyon towards the warm springs airport. As I came up on the mouth of the canyon I could see that the valley was fogged in. My only choice was to make a 180 degree turn. I made a high angle turn causing my passenger great concern. After completing a round about route, we finally arrived in boise. During this course of action I asked my passenger if everything was ok, which they said it was. After I landed they appeared to be a little upset. One of the passenger who was the most upset appeared he might report me to the FAA. I have decided that if the WX is even questionable that I would not fly with people until it improved. I didn't realize how sensitive some people are to flying.
