Narrative:
This report is meant to highlight issues with airport construction projects. At this airport; there is a significant construction project that impacts the taxiway into the ramp area; effectively making the entry and exit much smaller than normal. Worse; there are no taxi line markings to follow; only edge lights markers. The problem is that the blue taxi edge markers diverge from the lighted barricades and a pilot not paying attention could run them over. In addition; the diverging markers shrink the ramp dramatically making it extremely difficult to gauge where to start the turn onto the first J line for parking. There is no procedure in place for the station to assign additional marshallers to assist the aircraft maneuvering onto the ramp area. Psc station has a similar issue where the airport authority refuses to paint safety / taxi lines on temporary parking spots; resulting in a spinout extremely close to ground equipment scattered around the ramp with no way for the pilot to know if there is appropriate clearance. Even a simple circle of safety is absent.
