Filed route was kptk layne ZZZ ZZZ1. Our clearance was kptk layne bnnet mbs ZZZ ZZZ1. We failed to put bnnet in the FMC and after layne ATC noticed we were not tracking to bnnet. We were given a heading to get back on assigned routing.

Narrative: Filed route was KPTK LAYNE ZZZ ZZZ1. Our clearance was KPTK LAYNE BNNET MBS ZZZ ZZZ1. We failed to put BNNET in the FMC and after LAYNE ATC noticed we were not tracking to BNNET. We were given a heading to get back on assigned routing.
