Narrative:

On approach to pit runway 28R, we were issued a 280 degree heading with a clearance to expect visibility approach when we saw the runway. At 3-4 mi we saw the runway and we were approximately 1 mi north of centerline. A left, and then a right, turn put us very close to centerline. A final correction required a bank to the left. During that bank the left wing contacted the runway momentarily. A contributing factor was haze, and we were looking into the sun which reduced visibility to 3-4 mi, instead of the ATIS 7 mi. Wing damage was discovered by captain at the gate. Damage was minor and included on the left.east. Slat.
