Narrative:

On climbout captain was flying and his map screen display went off then back on then off again. Auto throttles then kicked off. I then became the flying pilot as my navigation screen and pfd were normal. I engaged the autopilot and reengaged the auto throttles. We leveled at 17;000 feet. We noticed on the elec synoptic display that battery # 1 in amber at 23volts and TR1 also in amber. Captain was talking to dispatch and maintenance control and it was decided that we will divert with the subsequent overweight landing at 140;200lbs. Landing was normal.
