Narrative:

Small aircraft was descending from 2000' MSL to traffic pattern altitude (1500' MSL). The gear was lowered and the gear indicator light did not come on. I flew midfield across the runway and asked the unicom monitor to visually check my gear. I turned downwind, base, then final, and once over the runway I sated 200' AGL above the surface.I was told by the operator and another aircraft that the gear appeared to be down. I made on go around and entered the pattern. I reset the circuit breaker and felt the gear extend and proceeded to land. I felt the wheels touch down and immediately the gear collapsed. The plane skidded 1000' down the runway. No gear down light, no gear horn and the circuit breaker was found to be out again after the incident.
