The jumpseater looked through the peep hole and said the cabin was clear and the flight attendant confirmed it went away. We leveled off; run the appropriate QRH and assess the situation. I made the decision to continue after discussing it with the first officer (first officer) and the jumpseater; who was [an experienced] captain. We informed dispatch and maintenance and [continued] to our destination with no further incident except for a smell on short final and pack #2 over heat EICAS message after landing.after landing; I called maintenance and informed them of what happened. I then wrote it up in the logbook. We speculate it could have been a problem from the packs. Pack #1 was meld and only #2 working. We also briefed the crew that was taking over the airplane of the situation.
