Narrative:

While turning base to final inside of zisur for a visual approach to 10L we had a drone encounter. We were in a descending left turn at approximately 1800 ft. Drone passed just under our left wing. Controllers were notified. A sheriff department helicopter was in the air and immediately went to the area; but did not find the drone.it was a black quadcopter of the recreational variety. It was not a commercial type (no large camera). Apparently there was some type of local fair going on; and they thought it may have come from there. Tower requested I call. I couldn't add much more than we told them during the encounter.
