Narrative:

After landing on runway 27 at bos, tower asked us to turn off on taxiway X. As we started to exit the runway on X, tower told us that it was not X, and that X was the next taxiway. We started to turn back to go to next taxiway and tower was concerned about an air carrier 'that was on final' so they requested that air carrier to go around. We were already clear of the runway by that time. After parking at the ramp we again reviewed the airport chart and found that the taxiway we originally started to exit on was in fact X and the tower controller was in error. It is difficult to mistake X with any other since X is the last high speed.

Narrative: AFTER LNDG ON RWY 27 AT BOS, TWR ASKED US TO TURN OFF ON TXWY X. AS WE STARTED TO EXIT THE RWY ON X, TWR TOLD US THAT IT WAS NOT X, AND THAT X WAS THE NEXT TXWY. WE STARTED TO TURN BACK TO GO TO NEXT TXWY AND TWR WAS CONCERNED ABOUT AN ACR 'THAT WAS ON FINAL' SO THEY REQUESTED THAT ACR TO GO AROUND. WE WERE ALREADY CLEAR OF THE RWY BY THAT TIME. AFTER PARKING AT THE RAMP WE AGAIN REVIEWED THE ARPT CHART AND FOUND THAT THE TXWY WE ORIGINALLY STARTED TO EXIT ON WAS IN FACT X AND THE TWR CTLR WAS IN ERROR. IT IS DIFFICULT TO MISTAKE X WITH ANY OTHER SINCE X IS THE LAST HIGH SPEED.
