Narrative:
Cruising at 10;000 feet 12 NM north northeast of the putnam (put) VOR my first officer was exposed twice to a laser illumination on the starboard side of the aircraft and cockpit. The two successions happened at a 30 second interval. He had the intuition to not look directly at the beam; however he had mild spotting in both eyes that went away within 5-10 minutes of exposure. There were no injuries on board. Reported incident to bradley TRACON.
