Narrative:
After pushback and engine start; power transfer; the center fuel tank boost pumps low pressure lights were illuminated. QRH; then dispatch and [maintenance control]; maintenance fixed the problem; signed off the logbook entry and we departed. Upon arrival at [our destination] we were informed that the maintenance procedure for fully clearing the issue may not have been done correctly.

Title: A 737 flight crew reported experiencing a fuel tank boost pump pressure issue after pushback and engine start. Maintenance personnel resolved the issue at the aircraft; however it was determined later that an improper procedure was used to troubleshoot the problem.
