Narrative:
I discovered a cart with 630 pounds of freight on gate; when checking for a hold off code in my scanner the freight was listed as on the flight in pit 3. I know this is a violation of company and FAA rules. I have seen this problem occur numerous times. The leads and supervisors need to address this issue.

Title: Ramp person reported finding a cart with 630 pounds of cargo that his scanner indicated was on a flight.
Narrative: I discovered a cart with 630 LBS of freight on gate; when checking for a hold off code in my scanner the freight was listed as on the flight in pit 3. I know this is a violation of company and FAA rules. I have seen this problem occur numerous times. The leads and supervisors need to address this issue.
