Narrative:

At night; taxiing from off runway 10R; we were instructed to take taxiways J;B; and then a to the ramp. The signage at the intersection of B and a really should be better. As we taxied by; I looked over my shoulder and could see that going outbound the signage at that intersection was good. Why is it not so; going inbound? An aircraft was taxiing out from the cargo ramp and we as a crew really had to stop; go heads inside to check our charts to ensure there was no conflict and that we were really seeing taxiway a.
