Narrative:

During my flight down the ny VFR corridor, I may have come within 500' of the bldgs on ellis island. I estimate about 400'. I may possibly have come within 500' of bridges crossing the hudson. I may also have come closer than 5 SM to ewr while circling the statue of liberty, though I don't think so, I may also have unintentionally violated other regulations during this trip. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following: reporter states he knows regulations, and in fact studied carefully the night before his flight to assure route to avoid TCA, but didn't think of requirements re: clearance from structures, just people. States he does not have such a poor attitude about regulations as report indicates.

STATES HE DOES NOT HAVE SUCH A POOR ATTITUDE ABOUT REGS AS RPT INDICATES.
