Narrative:

I was captain of flight to den, in an aircraft with a landing gross weight of 82,000 pounds with a flaps 30 landing reference speed of 119 KT. There was about a 5 KT tailwind component. We were cleared to land and did land on runway 26R, planning to park at gate B5. We passed up exiting the runway at high speed taxiway C6 only because of the gate assignment which made a C4 exit more expeditious. As we passed C6 we were shocked to see an small aircraft aircraft holding on that taxiway waiting for clearance to cross the e-w runway complex to the south side of the airport. We were never at any time advised that that taxiway was not available for our use and we had used it during hours of darkness the previous day when our gate assignment was B2. The local controller apologized stating that he'd just taken over that position.

Title: AFTER LNDG AND DURING ROLLOUT, FLT CREW ELECTED TO PASS UP THE HI SPEED TURNOFF GENERALLY USED. PASSING THE HI SPEED TURN OFF, FLT CREW WAS SHOCKED TO OBSERVE AN SMA SITTING ON THE HI SPEED, PRACTICALLY INVISIBLE IN THE DARK. NO MENTION OF THE HI SPEED BEING OCCUPIED BY TWR.
