Narrative:

Upon being issued a hold at the bucks intersection, I advised ATC that I would be holding at 230 KTS instead of 210 KTS, due to trws in the area. After being in the hold for a turn or two, we were advised to turn 'immediately' to 270 degrees; however, we were already in our outbnd turn. The controller advised me we were out of the (limits of the) hold and other traffic was holding at ptw. Since the bucks intersection is only 11 mi from ptw, I would have held with flaps and at or below 200 KTS if I'd known.
