Narrative:

I was on an IFR business flight to gso. I make this flight about 40 times a yr. I reported OM brant at 2900'. Tower cleared me to land. Tower called an air carrier medium large transport on taxiway 23 and cleared him for takeoff, and advised him there was an small transport on a 4 mi final. Air carrier said he was not ready and would wait. 1 min later air carrier called tower 'ready to go.' I was 1-2 mi from landing. The tower cleared the medium large transport to 'immediate takeoff--take it on the roll!' I was so close that I immediately prepared for go around. I retracted the wheels and prepared to advance the throttles. The air carrier medium large transport rolled out quickly and accelerated down runway 23. I continued cautiously and then at 300' AGL I decided it would be safe to land. I forgot to re-extend the landing gear due to an unusual situation and broken normal landing procedures. When the landing gear warning horn went off I pushed the throttles forward and initiated a climb. The tips of both propellers ticked the runway once and the trailing edge of the flaps scraped. I climbed up to 50', put down the gear and completed the normal landing and taxied in. I feel the tower and the impatient air carrier created a very careless and dangerous situation that should not have happened. I could have been down and off the runway safely in 1 more min of landing time. The 1 min to the air carrier was not worth the dangerous conditions it created.

Title: GA SMT STARTED TO LAND WITH GEAR UP. WARNING HORN ALERTED THE PLT, BUT NOT BEFORE PROPELLERS STRUCK THE RWY.

Narrative: I WAS ON AN IFR BUSINESS FLT TO GSO. I MAKE THIS FLT ABOUT 40 TIMES A YR. I RPTED OM BRANT AT 2900'. TWR CLRED ME TO LAND. TWR CALLED AN ACR MLG ON TXWY 23 AND CLRED HIM FOR TKOF, AND ADVISED HIM THERE WAS AN SMT ON A 4 MI FINAL. ACR SAID HE WAS NOT READY AND WOULD WAIT. 1 MIN LATER ACR CALLED TWR 'READY TO GO.' I WAS 1-2 MI FROM LNDG. THE TWR CLRED THE MLG TO 'IMMEDIATE TKOF--TAKE IT ON THE ROLL!' I WAS SO CLOSE THAT I IMMEDIATELY PREPARED FOR GAR. I RETRACTED THE WHEELS AND PREPARED TO ADVANCE THE THROTTLES. THE ACR MLG ROLLED OUT QUICKLY AND ACCELERATED DOWN RWY 23. I CONTINUED CAUTIOUSLY AND THEN AT 300' AGL I DECIDED IT WOULD BE SAFE TO LAND. I FORGOT TO RE-EXTEND THE LNDG GEAR DUE TO AN UNUSUAL SITUATION AND BROKEN NORMAL LNDG PROCS. WHEN THE LNDG GEAR WARNING HORN WENT OFF I PUSHED THE THROTTLES FORWARD AND INITIATED A CLB. THE TIPS OF BOTH PROPS TICKED THE RWY ONCE AND THE TRAILING EDGE OF THE FLAPS SCRAPED. I CLBED UP TO 50', PUT DOWN THE GEAR AND COMPLETED THE NORMAL LNDG AND TAXIED IN. I FEEL THE TWR AND THE IMPATIENT ACR CREATED A VERY CARELESS AND DANGEROUS SITUATION THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED. I COULD HAVE BEEN DOWN AND OFF THE RWY SAFELY IN 1 MORE MIN OF LNDG TIME. THE 1 MIN TO THE ACR WAS NOT WORTH THE DANGEROUS CONDITIONS IT CREATED.
