Narrative:

After a satisfactory approach to the runway, airplane's wheels touched down, bounced, touched again. I was at approximately 70 mph with 1 notch of flaps (3 passenger). Instead of settling, the plane veered to the left and just off the runway to the left. The landing gear collapsed, causing the plane to tip forward. No injuries to passenger or pilot. The airport at mac guire ranch is on a mesa and subject to sharp and changing gusts of wind which may have been a factor.
