Narrative:

A flight from prn-gso. Upon arriving in locale of charlotte airspace, I talked to the controller and was told to hold. I gave my position and destination as greensboro. After a min or so I called back. No reply. Not realizing, because of habit thinking it an arsa that I was in the TCA. My current flight airport directory was not up to date. I contacted gso approach and was told of my infraction. I was in mode C and in contact at all times. I was not told of change at any time. In combination with my habit of knowing that as an arsa and the controller's normally heavy workload, I thought I was above an arsa.
