Narrative:

During manual starter valve operation during start at tul the operating mechanic walked in front of the running engine and was sucked against the engine cowl. His partner grabbed him and pulled him away from the engine probably saving his life. The mechanics and other ground personnel must be trained about the hazards of working near engine inlets when engines are operating. On any larger engine the mechanic would surely have been killed.
