Narrative:

Flying to iresh; the FAF; we were visually fixated on a closed field (hlr) approximately 3 miles north of intended airport. Initially briefed a straight in ILS to runway 01; but VFR traffic was landing runway 19. Identified/discovered wrong airport overhead ile. Distance on the mfd was not proportionate or representative of actual distance to ile. Had to adjust pattern to land on intended runway (ile) and subsequently overshot final; causing us to briefly fly into gray aaf airspace. Ile is uncontrolled. Landing was uneventful.increased vigilance for uncontrolled airports.
