Narrative:
Landed on runway 9 lansing at night. Could not back taxi 9 because listening to 122.7 there was another aircraft inbound to lansing runway 9 also. So I taxied south off of active to grass taxiway. Leaving runway my left main gear fell into an unmarked hole 2' deep 3' long where the old VASI lights used to be.

Narrative: LANDED ON RWY 9 LANSING AT NIGHT. COULD NOT BACK TAXI 9 BECAUSE LISTENING TO 122.7 THERE WAS ANOTHER ACFT INBND TO LANSING RWY 9 ALSO. SO I TAXIED S OFF OF ACTIVE TO GRASS TXWY. LEAVING RWY MY LEFT MAIN GEAR FELL INTO AN UNMARKED HOLE 2' DEEP 3' LONG WHERE THE OLD VASI LIGHTS USED TO BE.
