Narrative:

Towing a banner out of chino, ca, heading west to advertise over a residence in woodland hills (approximately 6 mi due south of van nuys airport). Traveling along the 60 freeway, I called el monte airport and got transition clearance through their air traffic area, reported when I was clear to the west. Tuned to burbank approach control on 134.05 and told them I was a couple of mi east of the la civic center. The time was XA40 pm. Burbank approach gave me a squawk code (transponder was set on altitude) and they asked me, 'are you aware you're in the TCA?' I said 'no sir I wasn't', so they vectored me 320 degree until clear then told me to resume own navigation. I flew for a few more mins then turned west. I thought I was far enough north. I started a climb to 3500' but stopped the climb at 2500' plus a few feet when I realized I had inadvertently hit the TCA again, a second time, but in a different section, both in less than 5 min. It was and is incredibly sloppy flying. In my 18 yrs of flying around the la basin this is the first time I've been into the TCA without permission. Not paying enough attention to my location on the charts is the reason for the incident. I'm sure that working a 9-HR day, spending 1 hour on the road and preparing for a vacation we were taking the next day contributed to my fatigue. But it's still no excuse for flying with my head up and locked!
