Ord to den climbing through 290, 40 east of dsm VOR, #2 oil pressure and quantity began dropping rapidly to zero. #2 engine was shut down. At XA00, after reviewing all options and talking with dispatch, we elected to continue to den. Ord WX IFR (80 overcast 3 rain fog snow 34/33). Den WX cavu. En route WX west of dsm VFR. Decision to continue was based on den being VFR with longer runways and crew fam with den. Normal landing in den XB34.
