Narrative:

I was training on the local control position. 4 aircraft were given clearance to cross an active runway with traffic holding in position. I was temporarily distracted by an aircraft landing another runway. After the 3RD one had crossed my instructor told me to clear the aircraft in position for takeoff. The last aircraft appeared to be holding short of the active. After takeoff clearance was issued, the last aircraft started towards the runway. I then aborted takeoff of the aircraft that had been cleared. The aircraft crossed the runway 5000' downfield.
