Narrative:

While working heavy traffic on feeder position during evening rush, computer outage occurred at XX42 local. All data blocks vanished for about 30 seconds before beginning to reacquire by sector. At the feeder east position, critical flight data was lost for about 45 seconds before returning to normal. At no time was sep lost--however this problem is recurring with increasing frequency. The reliability of the system is in question to the controllers. No reduction in flow control is used or expected to be used by the FAA. I feel that the possible ingredients for disaster are brewing.
