At cruise we got a center hydraulic low quantity alert. Status page showed .47 and decreasing. We alerted [company operations] and conveyed that center hydraulic fluid would be very low or empty when we arrived. We declared an emergency with approach control. As we began configuring for landing; we received intermittent center system low pressure EICAS messages. Center fluid was .09 to .14. We followed checklist and landed [with] flaps 20 and rolled to the end with emergency equipment standing by. We entered the ramp [and] were towed from there to parking.
