Narrative:
Flight was preparing to depart glh for mem as scheduled. During performance of after engine start procedures an unauthorized man ran in front of the aircraft, waving his arms over his head. Captain reacted promptly by shutting down the left engine and standing by on the right in the event the individual made for either. Shortly thereafter, a second man came around the north end of the terminal fence motioning for us to shut down. He was followed by 2 ground security personnel. A third security man escorted the first unauthorized man away from the airplane. Both men were escorted into the terminal and the flight resumed.

Title: MDT ACR PREPARING TO TAXI. UNAUTH MAN RAN IN FRONT OF ACFT, CAPT SHUT DOWN LEFT ENGINE. ARPT SECURITY PERSONNEL ESCORTED UNAUTH MAN OFF RAMP.
Narrative: FLT WAS PREPARING TO DEPART GLH FOR MEM AS SCHEDULED. DURING PERFORMANCE OF AFTER ENG START PROCS AN UNAUTH MAN RAN IN FRONT OF THE ACFT, WAVING HIS ARMS OVER HIS HEAD. CAPT REACTED PROMPTLY BY SHUTTING DOWN THE LEFT ENG AND STANDING BY ON THE RIGHT IN THE EVENT THE INDIVIDUAL MADE FOR EITHER. SHORTLY THEREAFTER, A SECOND MAN CAME AROUND THE N END OF THE TERMINAL FENCE MOTIONING FOR US TO SHUT DOWN. HE WAS FOLLOWED BY 2 GND SECURITY PERSONNEL. A THIRD SECURITY MAN ESCORTED THE FIRST UNAUTH MAN AWAY FROM THE AIRPLANE. BOTH MEN WERE ESCORTED INTO THE TERMINAL AND THE FLT RESUMED.
