Narrative:

Air carrier X was descended to FL350, then was turned 15 degrees left and cleared to FL290 to comply with the ZID and ZTL LOA for control arrs. Air carrier Y was turned 10 degrees left for traffic to stay behind air carrier X. Air carrier X was told to expedite through FL310. Additional turns were issued to both aircraft to maintain sep. The turns were too late to establish latitude sep when vertical was lost.

Narrative: ACR X WAS DSNDED TO FL350, THEN WAS TURNED 15 DEGS LEFT AND CLRED TO FL290 TO COMPLY WITH THE ZID AND ZTL LOA FOR CTL ARRS. ACR Y WAS TURNED 10 DEGS LEFT FOR TFC TO STAY BEHIND ACR X. ACR X WAS TOLD TO EXPEDITE THROUGH FL310. ADDITIONAL TURNS WERE ISSUED TO BOTH ACFT TO MAINTAIN SEP. THE TURNS WERE TOO LATE TO ESTABLISH LAT SEP WHEN VERT WAS LOST.
