Narrative:
Noticed that iran overflight permissions and/or applicable permits for iran overfly were missing from flight plan. ACARS used to contact dispatch. I asked for the overflight permit reference. Dispatch sent them. This is of particular concern should the flight crew miss this overfly information; takeoff and unintentionally fly into iranian or other airspace without the appropriate permission; the crew may be 'put down' in hostile territory.make certain that all overflight permissions are separated from the main text of the flight plan; and labeled as such; in a place where they can be identified easily and not hidden. Be specific as to which country overfly permissions have been granted due to the route of flight; etc.
